Oppo Selfie Phone price : Oppo has regularly been releasing devices in the Indian market. After launching R7 Lite and R7 Plus, Oppo has launched F1 and F1 Plus, the Selfie Experts, to attract young generation. Thanks to 8 MP front Camera, Oppo F1 is called “Selfie Expert”. It also launched Oppo F1 (ICC T20 Special Edition) at Rs.17990.
Oppo has added a lot of design elements inspired by its higher-end counterparts like R7 and R7 Lite. The use of plastic on the back on F1 is the only difference. Oppo F1 features 5” display and has the protection of 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The device features metal alloy frame that has great chamfering over the edges. It has no steep corners. On the left, it has a volume rocker and SIM card slot on the right with power/standby button. On the top, it has 3.5mm jack and MicroUSB charging port on the bottom. On the side, the front has thin bezels when compared to top and bottom.
The bottom bezel has soft buttons with no backlit. The rear has 13 MP Camera with LED flash on the top left-hand corner. The placement is much like R7 Lite. It has a speaker on the bottom left. The branding is featured on the top half. It weighs 134g and measures 7.25mm thick. Overall, it feels good in the hand. The protective coating over the display keeps it from being slippery.
Oppo Selfie Phone Features :
The self-proclaimed Selfie Expert, Oppo F1 grabs more attention on 8MP front Camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.4 micrometers of pixel density. It has Screen Flash option, and it brightens display while taking selfies in low light. Under the hood, it features 5” display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor that has 1 GHz quad-core Cortex A53 cluster and 1.7 GHz quad-core Cortex A53 cluster. It is paired with 3GB RAM and Adreno 405 GPU.
When it comes to storage, it has 16 GB of onboard storage out of which approx 5.6GB is used for system storage. Luckily, you can expand storage with MicroSD card and it is powered by Android 5.1 with ColorOS 2.1 skinning. This device supports 4G single SIM storage, and it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with GPS and A-GPS, and Bluetooth 4.0. It has non-removable Li-Po 2500 mAh battery.
Software: Oppo F1 also features ColorOS 2.1 skin over Android 5.1 OS like other siblings. It lacks app drawer, and it has its official apps like Lock Now, O-Cloud, Theme Store, Security Center and even more. File Explorer is strategically divided into categories like Videos, Music, Documents, Pictures, ZIP and APK. ColorOS 2.1 is a nice custom UI over Android OS, and it provides value in performance.
Display: It features 5” HD IPS display with 294ppi of pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 cover. Though it may seem obvious these days in full HD Smartphones at these ranges, the display still looks decent. The color looks natural with some sort of bluish tinge. It has remarkable pixelation when it comes to very close quarters. It is not an issue at arm’s length. The display can provide cool black levels as we have seen in video tests. There are no complaints regarding its display.
Oppo Selfie Phone Performance :
Oppo F1 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor and 3GB RAM. It is more than enough for a smartphone to run a lot of operations smoothly. When it comes to switching between apps, it has a mild stutter, but it doesn’t affect its performance. With loudspeakers, call quality is pretty good. The audio speaker is not loud, but it lacks proper clarity. So, better use earphones to watch videos and listen to music. Snapdragon 616 is better than 615 for performance. You can easily play graphic demanding games like Modern Combat 5, and Asphalt 8: Airborne on medium settings. The devices get little warm while watching videos and gaming, but not too hot. As a whole, it doesn’t face any problem.
Oppo Selfie Phone Features Camera:
Oppo F1 features 13MP rear camcorder and 8MP sensor at front. The front camera is the USP of this device. With f/2.0 aperture, it gives nice selfies, and you can post process because of beautifying mode. It has screen flash so you can easily take selfies in low lit conditions. The screen converts the whole display into the flash by increasing brightness in a way that it gets the natural image, and it is suitable for all practical purpose. But these selfies have noise.
The rear camera can click good photos in outdoor conditions, and it would be confused when it faces tricky lighting conditions and HDR mode. Most of the time, rather than getting a balanced image, we have got ones that are likely to be more biased in blowing the highlights. In daylight conditions, noise control is pretty good, and it is bound to witness sharpness. The rear camera has noise in low-light images and shows patchy areas on 100% viewing. The camera has some interesting modes like UltraHD, GIF, Double Exposure and more that can be downloaded. For casual sharing, video quality is decent.
Oppo Selfie Phone Price in India:
Currently, Oppo F1 is available at Rs. 15900. Unless you are a selfie addict and looking for a device with sound battery life, there is nothing much that can set it ahead of the competition. It is quite fierce in this range. Instead, Moto X Play, OnePlus X, Lenovo Vibe S1, Redmi Note 3, and Huawei Honor 5X deliver better performance than it. Oppo F1 is pretty decent phone with some improvements in front camera.
Battery Life: Oppo F1 features non-removable 2500mAh Li-ion battery to last about a day with normal usage. You can easily get through your working day by sending emails, clicking photos, calling, messaging, and streaming video and audio. Gaming can reduce battery faster. With HD display, it can really give more juice Oppo Selfie Phone – Specs & Features-Indian Price
